Today, we are making ghost and bat door decorations!
Hello and welcome to a… wait, what day is it? Oh right. Hello and welcome to a Tuesday post! This post is much like one of my other posts “DIY Halloween Decor!- October 5, 2015”, so go check that one out after this one if you’d like to. This one is a lot easier and less time consuming. So, here we go…
Supplies (left to right): water color or regular paint, paintbrush, colorful sharpie markers, black and white paper, black sharpie’s (optional), pencil, scissors, hole punch, and ribbon
Step 1: Start by getting a sheet of white paper and drawing ghost shapes.
Step 2: Then cut them out with scissors.
Step 3: Next draw bat figures on the black paper in pencil and it should show up. This picture is slightly out of focus, but you can see the outline.
Step 4: Here is the bat cut out. On one of them, i accidentally cut off the head, but i just taped it back on.
Step 5: Now, its painting time!
Step 5 cont.: This is the outcome of the painting. I just did little faces and made one ghost look like someone in costume.
Step 6: Again, this picture is out of focus (soz!). Then, after they dried, i punched holes into the tops of the ghosts and the wings of the bats.
This is the finishing result!
Thanks for reading, and i hope this helped you with your decor. These are so cute, I’m debating on hanging them outside on Halloween night for the trick-or-treaters. Leave any feedback or suggestions in the comments. BYE BYE!
