Book Writing

Book Writing! – March 25, 2016

Hello and welcome to a Friday post! This is about writing a book. Here we go,

So, for two months i have been working on a book in Microsoft Office. I am currently at 113,000 words and 330 pages. It is called “Broken Wings”. It is a dystopian style book and has been very fun to write. So far, i’ve found it quite easy to write. Not in the book’s sense but in the self-motivational sense. some people say they will start writing and will never finish, but i haven’t gotten to that point yet! I am really enjoying the writing experience and have some tips:

  • Write in different environments. Don’t always sit at a desk. Go to a cafe! Go to Barnes and Noble! Go to your local coffee shop! It helps you develop characters by seeing real people in real life.
  • Even if your book sounds like another you’ve read, keep writing it! If it is coming out of your brain it will not sound like another book at all!
  • Keep characters varied. Don’t make them all loyal. Don’t make them all good. Make all you’re characters different!

Thats it for this post! I will post more in the future!

Thanks for reading and like, comment any suggestions, feedback, or questions and follow for weekly posts! Until next time,
