The Girl In The Wall Review! -April 26, 2016

Hello and welcome to a Tuesday post! I thought i would do a blogpost about a book i finished this morning so, here you go:

8/10 –
So, this book had really amazing character traits, character development, and a deeply thought-out plot. I loved how they included mental health and emotional compounds in the whole book.

This book starts in the perspective of Sera, a girl who is the school pariah (outcast), and switches between her and Ariel, Sera’s former best friend until Sera betrayed her. Sera betrayed Ariel by telling her school counselor that Ariel was having mental issues, that needed attention, and Ariel got taken to a hospital. It’s Ariel’s birthday weekend and Sera’s dad is forcing her to go to Ariels bday party because they’re dads are in businesses that fund each other. The party is fine until Hudson Winters, a rock star teenager, starts his performance and his bodyguard is shot at point-blank range. What they guessed was extra security for Hudson was actually paid assassins to hold the entire party hostage.
As the night unfolds and the death toll climbs, the two girls take completely different paths but end up coming together to try and stop the assassins and the ‘bad guy’ behind it once and for all.

I really enjoyed this book and actually read it in less than 24 hours. I would recommend it to anyone who likes crime, hostage, mental health, betrayal, and friendship based books!
